OBJETIVO: Capacitar interessados e envolvidos em estudos de expansão de longo prazo de sistemas de geração de energia elétrica no uso do modelo MELP (Modelo de Expansão de Longo Prazo).

EMENTA:

Conceitos básicos para modelagem do problema de planejamento da expansão de longo prazo: variáveis inteiras versus contínuas, representação das incertezas hidrológicas, de demanda e de custos de combustíveis, variabilidade intradiária das fontes renováveis, tecnologias de armazenamento, custo marginal de expansão.
Modelo computacional MELP: premissas, formulação matemática, representação de restrições flexíveis (taxas mínimas de expansão, participação mínima e máxima de fontes renováveis, limites de emissões de GEE), técnicas de solução, dados de entrada e saídas do modelo.
Simulações com o modelo MELP.
Representação integrada entre os sistemas de energia elétrica e de gás natural.
Representação dos aspectos socioambientais.
