Electrical Networks

Geopolitical and economic aspects, associated to the continental extension of Brazil, have made the Brazilian interconnected electrical system present unique characteristics, especially the long distances between the main generating plants and the large consumption centers. These characteristics have led Cepel to develop its own set of network analysis programs that are among the most used in the country and cover aspects such as power flow, short circuit, stability, reliability and harmonics, placing Brazil in a prominent position in this area .

ANAREDE, ANATEM, ANAFAS, HarmZs, PacDyn, NH2, FLUPOT and PLANTAC are network analysis programs licensed for companies and universities. There are also trainings on the use of these programs.
