EditCepel is a customized text editor for network analysis applications developed by Cepel.
The software allows the selection of the network analysis application for which the user wishes to edit data files. EditCepel, then, starts recognizing the data formats of the selected application, marking the beginning and ending of the data blocks, their expansion and contraction, format rulers’ display for edition orientation, data block comments, besides the commonly used functions in every text editors.
The network analysis applications whose formats are recognized by EditCepel are: ANAFAS (Analysis of Simultaneous Faults); ANAREDE (Analysis of Power System Networks); ANATEM (Analysis of Electromechanical Transients); FLUPOT (Optimal Power Flow); HarmZs (Electrical Network Harmonic Studies and Modal Analysis); NH2 (Probabilistic and Reliability Analysis); and PacDyn (Analysis and Control of Electromechanical Oscillations in Power Systems).
Among the main users of EditCepel are: public sector entities, such as the Electric System National Operator (ONS) and the Energy Research Company (EPE); the Eletrobras companies; generation, transmission and distribution agents; big industrial consumers; independent producers and universities (student versions).
